Optical Switches / Opto Switches

Slotted optical switches, also known as Opto Switches, consist of an infrared emitting diode and an NPN silicon phototransistor housed in a single package. These switches are commonly used in various instruments, systems, and equipment to indicate status when light beams are interrupted.
