Photodiodes

Our high-performance photodiodes and optical sensors are trusted by Aerospace and Defense, Medical & Life Sciences, Test and Measurement, and Industrial markets.

Silicon Photodiodes

Our silicon photodiodes are designed to detect light across a wide range of wavelengths - from ultraviolet to near-infrared regions (200-1100nm). These highly reliable photodiodes offer high performance, making them ideal for various applications such as position sensing, power monitoring, and more. We also manufacture custom products to meet specific requirements.

Large Area Avalanche Photodiode (LAAPD)

Featuring the industry's largest active area Avalanche Photodiodes (APD) with diameters of up to 16mm, these patented devices can operate up to 2000V and achieve gains of up to 300. They have extremely low noise, high stable gain, and 120% quantum efficiency, which enables these LAAPDs to sense light as low as 120nm. You can obtain these devices in an SHV package, either non-cooled or windowless.

InGaAs Photodiodes

Our InGaAs photodiodes are sensitive to light in the visible to infrared regions (400-1700nm). These photodiodes are designed to offer high sensitivity with low dark currents, which makes them optimal for low-light detection applications commonly used in fiber optic communications, spectroscopy, industrial/process control, and military systems. We offer a diverse range of InGaAs photodiodes that include options for extended wavelength detection, position sensing, and custom capabilities based on your exact specifications.

Gallium Nitride (GaN) Photodiodes

These devices are capable of blocking visible light and specific spectral ranges, namely 210-280nm (UVC), 220-320nm (UVB), and 220-370nm (UVA). They are designed to be compact and highly sensitive, making them ideal for precise monitoring and control across various UV applications. These applications include disinfection, medical, analytical, and scientific fields.

Silicon Carbide (SiC) Photodiodes

These broadband SiC UV sensors have a spectral response of 200-380nm and block visible wavelengths for accurate monitoring and control in UV disinfection, flame detection, and scientific applications.
